Just like in any other business, marketing and promotion are some of the non-negotiables when you're running a coaching business in the World Wide Web. Obviously, it's very important that you reach out to your potential clients and make them aware about your business and your programs otherwise, you will not stand a chance of making a sale.
In this article, I wish to help you plan and launch a targeted, highly effective internet marketing campaign. Here's what you need to do:
Goal setting. Always start the process by setting your short and long term goals so you know what to focus on. The first thing that you want to achieve is to secure decent page ranking on search engines. If your website is showing on relevant search results, amazing web traffic will follow. Aside from that, you also want to achieve the following:
Establish your expertise in your niche.
Earn the trust of your potential clients.
Communicate your programs unique selling preposition.
Drive qualified traffic to your blog and website.
Build relationship with your prospects.
Secure decent number of leads.
And of course, generate several sign ups in as little time as possible.
Plans of actions. Next step is to figure out the exact things that you're going to do in order to realize your short and long terms goals. Let me give you an idea as to how you can make this happen:
To establish your expertise in your niche, make time to show off your in-depth knowledge. Grab every opportunity you can to show your prospects how much you know your chosen niche. Write articles, maintain an informative blog, offer free seminars, provide answers on forums and blogs, etc. The more in-depth information you share, the better for your image.
To earn the trust of your potential clients, I would suggest that you give them sample coaching sessions. These free sessions don't need to be very long. In fact, they can last for less than 20 minutes. The goal here is to give your prospects an idea as to how you can coach them. If they were impressed, they will seriously consider buying from you. Building a good reputation and being known as somebody who's extremely committed in making your paying customers extremely happy can also help.
You can easily communicate your programs' unique selling preposition. Each time you promote them, highlight their benefits and features. Then, tell your prospects that you're the only one offering these. This can certainly make your programs more enticing to their eyes.
Driving qualified traffic to your blog and website is relatively easy although it will require enormous time and energy. Aside from distributing articles to directories and securing better page ranking on Google, promoting your website through blogging, social media marketing, search engine marketing, forum and blog commenting, etc. would also help.
To secure decent number of leads, send as much qualified prospects as possible to your website and make regular follow-ups. You need to increase their interest over your programs so you can easily get them to buy sooner.
